Regular dental care is as critical for kids as it is for adults. At Cloverdale Dental Group in Etobicoke, our services can be tailored to meet your child's oral health needs, and keep their smile healthy and happy.
Your child’s dental visit may be covered by the Canada Dental Benefit (CDB).
Early Positive Dental Experiences
At Cloverdale Dental Group, we believe that helping children feel at ease during their dental appointments can help them build a good foundation for maintaining excellent oral health today and into adulthood.
We offer a range of dental services for Etobicoke kids and their developing smiles and are dedicated to providing your child with the most positive dental experience possible.
We understand that attending dental appointments can feel intimidating, so we strive to keep the environment friendly, calm and inviting. We will work at your child's pace, take breaks if they get overwhelmed, and explain each step of the process in a language they can understand.
Your Child's First Visit
Babies should see a dentist after they turn six months of age or by their first birthday at the latest. By this time, the baby's first teeth, or primary teeth, should start to erupt and it is a pivotal time to identify any problems before they become big concerns.
Dental Services for Kids
At Cloverdale Dental Group, we can tailor our services to meet your child's oral health needs, and keep their smile healthy.
Preventive Dental Hygiene
Seeing the dentist for routine exams and cleanings when your child is young will help preserve primary teeth until they are ready to fall out naturally and be replaced by permanent teeth. During each appointment, we will review proper preventive hygiene techniques to make sure your child's smile is receiving the appropriate care at home.
Restorative Dental Services
Despite our best efforts in diligently following preventive measures, children can sometimes develop a cavity, be at risk of tooth decay or experience misalignment issues. In these circumstances, your dentist may also recommend restorative treatments such as mouth guards and dental fillings.
